Overview
Whether you’re looking to challenge yourself physically or find a calm escape from daily stress, Float is a sanctuary where you can rejuvenate your body and clear your mind.
Inspiration
This personal project evolved from a study on Robert Brownjohn’s ‘Watching Words Move’. In 1959, Robert Brownjohn visually described a word with the graphic alteration of that word. For example; addding, subtrcting, di vi ding. Using this idea I created the logo for Float and built a compact identity guideline package for the general graphic uses within the company.
Concept
The logo represents not only the science of heat, as hot air rises, but also introduces the conceptual connection of a calm and focused mind. The heated environment helps to deepen stretches, detoxify the body, and enhance focus, allowing participants to "float" through their sessions.
